

A converted, listed Victorian Piggery on a secluded, organic dairy farm in the beautiful Teifi Valley of Carmarthenshire, West Wales.
Penyrallt Fach is a delightful cottage situated on a traditional Welsh farm, providing comfortable accommodation for up to 4 people.
The stone-built cottage has a fully-equipped kitchen/diniing/sitting room with a farmhouse table and seating for 4, a sofa and easy chairs with wood floors and exposed beams.
On arrival there will be a small welcome hamper, a fresh home-baked cake and flowers from the garden on the table.
The wood-burning stove makes the cottage a cosy place to relax after long days on the beach or walking in the hills.
All fuel is included in the rental. A dvd player, radio and a large selection of books, board-games and many dvds are provided. There is no tv. reception, making this the perfect holiday retreat.
There are two simply and attractively furnished bedrooms, one double, one twin. The beds have all been made by the owners from wood grown on the farm and supplied with duvets and lovely, locally made Welsh wool blankets.
The bathroom has a bath (complete with yellow rubber ducks!), wash-basin, lavatory and washing-machine.
Towels and bed-linen are supplied, also hot water bottles & spare blankets.
All fuel & electricity are included in the price.
The cottage is on a Soil Association certificated traditional family farm which is a member of the Soil Association Open Farm Network. Visitors are welcome to see the day-to-day running of the farm and to walk around the fields and woods. A guided farm walk can be requested free of charge.
There is a small farm shop supplying home-reared beef & lamb, free-range eggs & sundry basic organic & fairtrade groceries including a small range of vegetarian meals.
The farm is ideally situated for exploring the lovely countryside and beautiful coastline of West Wales. The Pembrokeshire National Park, Cambrian Mountains and the coast of Cardigan bay are all within easy reach. The River Teifi with its renowned salmon fishing is close by.
